We are delighted to have a varied and talented team of experts and professional leaders, Head Teachers and Principals working as Associates with EdTransform.  Our team has been carefully chosen: leaders and practitioners who have successful portfolios, are deeply inside our 21st century pedagogical approach in their own schools, have a diverse array of experience, expertise and skills and are excited to be supporting other schools on their journey.

Angela Armytage
Director of EdTransform, Head Teacher Consultant and Leadership Coach

Angela has over three decades experience working as a teacher and leader in schools and was Head Teacher for eleven years. She has worked with the Innovation Unit in London as a Leadership Coach and, through EdTransform and formerly EOS Education, has worked with many schools nationally to support transformational change in both leadership and learning. She is passionate about working with leaders to effect cultural change to bring about new ways of learning that prepare young people for life in a global community.

Denise Burgess
Leadership Consultant

Denise has been teaching for nearly 20 years in London, Milton Keynes and the Bedfordshire area and this is her second headship. In her first headship she led her school to an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted grade. In her current role as Head Teacher of a large primary school she has built, led and developed a new team, led the school through two Ofsted inspections with the most recent obtaining a ‘good’ grade with an ‘outstanding’ grade for behaviour, safety and welfare as well as the Early Years.

Neville Rice
Leadership Consultant Leadership Coach

Neville understands the importance of building a great team that involves the whole community. Over his time at Scartho Junior Academy he has led the school through three successive ‘good’ Ofsted inspections. He has successfully supported school across and beyond the EdTransform network.

Helen Hilton
Leadership Consultant

Helen is an experienced Head Teacher who has successfully supported leadership teams and schools across and beyond the EdTransform network. She is passionate about the importance of early years and primary education and enjoys helping children build solid foundations for learning and life.

Sara Johnston
Leadership Consultant

Sara Johnston has been Head Teacher at Chapel Break Infant School in Norfolk for six years beginning in 2012. She has developed distributed leadership throughout the school; this has been key to Chapel Break's outstanding practice. In her management style she adheres to the principles of Critique: Be kind, Be helpful, and Be specific. These are the foundations that underpin all areas of school life at Chapel Break.

Emma Overton
Leadership Consultant

Emma has been a primary school teacher for 20 years and was the Head Teacher of Stephenson Memorial Primary School from 2010 to 2017. Outcomes at the school improved greatly under her leadership leading to a strong Ofsted report in January 2018. Since September 2017 she has been Head Teacher at The British School of Barcelona.

Kerry Lilico
Leadership Consultant

Kerry Lilico is an Executive Head Teacher of two very unique schools in North Tyneside; Grasmere Academy and Stephenson Memorial Primary School. She has worked at these schools for 10 years and is passionate about providing a curriculum and education that is inclusive, innovative and engaging.

Angela Clay
Leadership Consultant

Angela Clay is the Head Teacher of Pensans Community Primary School – she has transformed Teaching and Learning in the short time that she has led the school. Her team is unrelenting in pursuit of high standards and innovative and exciting real world pedagogy.

Jo Doyle
Senior Classroom Coach Leadership Coach

Jo is former Deputy Head of one of EdTransform's Associate schools, Great Denham Primary in Bedford. She is a former Specialist Leader in Education, trained in the REAL© Projects and Challenge Based Learning pedagogical approach and was instrumental in supporting Great Denham to achieve a very positive Ofsted outcome for the school. She is hugely talented in many areas and has great insight into leadership practice.

Tiffany Pope
Classroom Coach

Tiffany is an experienced teacher who has previously been an AST and Assistant Head. She is currently Head of Curriculum at Pensans Community Primary in Penzance and has driven forward REAL© Projects within the school creating the ‘unique curriculum’ recently commented on in the latest OFSTED report.

Judith Copley
Mathematics Consultant

Judith believes that the skills involved in learning mathematics, such as prediction and generalisation, are key skills and can have a huge impact on the quality children's lives. Judith is currently Assistant Head Teacher at a school on a journey with EdTransform and has great insight into real world learning as well as significant leadership experience.
